  • 2 tsp brown sugar
  • 3 freshly minced garlic cloves
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions:

The First Step:

  1. In a zip-top bag, pour the barbecue sauce.
  2. Add brown sugar, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and cayenne pepper if you choose.

The Second Step:

  1. Close the bag with a zip and knead it with your hands to mix the sauce ingredients well.

The Third Step:

  1. Open the bag and place the ribs inside.
  2. Close the bag and shake it to completely cover the ribs.
  3. Spray the inner part of the crockpot.

The Fourth Step:

  1. Open the bag and put the ribs in the crockpot.
  2. Pour half of the sauce from the bag into the crockpot, ensuring the ribs are well covered.

The Fifth Step:

  1. Cook over high heat for 4 to 5 hours to achieve fall-off-the-bone tenderness, or on low heat for 9 hours.
  2. For leaner meat that still stays on the bone, cook on low heat for 7 hours until the meat easily falls off.

The Sixth Step:

  1. Have extra sauce available on the table so everyone can customize their rib experience.
  2. Enjoy!
